Ronnie's review – puts you right there, in a Soho jazz institution
"It's a relief to come and work with George because after the trials and tribulations of getting a film made you know your story has arrived in a passionate and expert pair of hands. It's a pleasure to hear George bring a mix to life and listen to it fill the cinema. Whether it's getting the best out of unheard treasures from The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix bootlegs or creating the sounds of war torn 1940s London or the bustling streets of New York City the results are always so immersive and tasteful so whenever I get the opportunity George is the first guy I think of when it's time to mix a project. Soho audio talent wins Baftas
Soho post houses Boom and Molinare are celebrating after their senior audio talent was recognized with Bafta Craft Awards.
Molinare’s George Foulgham and Lisa McStay picked up the Sound Factual award for their work on Trawlermen (pictured) having worked on series 2, 3 and 4 of the BBC produced show.
Executive producer Bill Lyons said: “There aren’t many shows as tough as Trawlermen from the point of view of the sound department. We’re so lucky to have had [these] two on board to stitch our salt-soaked offerings into such a finely-wrought aural tapestry.”
George Foulgham: Dubbing Mixer
"I’ve been nominated a few times, but every time you’re nominated, it’s like going to the dentist and having a party at the same time. There is that moment of absolute dread going through all the clips and then somebody opening up an envelope. It’s pretty heart-stopping." - George
